Well the install went very smooth. Little over an hour I would say and no glitches. I didn't even break the clip, which I was kinda bummed about since I paid $10 to have one on standby..O-well.
Overall I am very impressed with this setup. Solid unit, great quality, smooth shifting. Feels very sturdy and looks like it should have came stock with the car.
Here is a quick short video. I wasn't railing it, but you can see how smoothly it shifts, plus you can hear the sweet roar of the magnaflows (with windows up).

Looks and sounds awesome Colby. Knowing how much you like to shift your auto I know you will get alot of pleasure from this new mod.
And I agree it is a very well built unit and it would be really cool if Ford would offer such an option!!

The latest mod to my TCI shifter is a new "Toggle" for the lock out. I originally made one from billet that looked similar but was larger. So I took the stock TCI toggle and modified it to suit me. I also cut 3/8" off the shaft holding the toggle to lower it in relation to the shifter.
This took me about two hours to do the basic modification, and I spent an additional two hours the next day fine tuning the shape and polishing. Polishing Aluminum takes almost as long as actually making the handle.

i just wish the shifts were crisper. not sure if my problem is isolated, but it still sometimes takes a while after i shift for the gear to actually change... especially with more spirited driving. i tried shifting while at WOT a couple times, and it held the lower gear way too long.
still.... it is fun to play around with. not a replacement for a manual tranny, but better than nothing... plus it looks great. i would recommend this to anyone with an automatic.
