Steeda UDP install help.

I have three questions.

1.Does anyone still have their instructions from Steeda that they can scan to me?

2.Is it possible to remove the crank pulley without a gear puller?

3. I bought these used and it doesnt have the shorter alternator bolt. Where can I get one?

(1) Steeda has the instructions posted on their web page as I remember. EDIT I just looked and they are NOT there, sorry and I don't have mine any more either.

(2) NO. You can usually rent a puller from a parts store, but they really don't cost all that much for a basic one. Did you get the LONGER crank bolt to install the new pulley with your purchase? If not you either need a longer bolt to pull the pulley onto the crank or rent an installer tool.

(3) I would pull out the factory existing bolt and cut the protruding threaded part off or take it to NAPA and have them match it up with what you need.

You should also replace the crank bolt any time you remove it. The FORD part number is F5RZ-6A34Q-B it cost about $7 from your Ford dealer.

Do not use an impact to install the pulley BTW, and you shouldn't have to FORCE anything. This is a really easy install. Taco Bill has a write up on this install here on this forum.

I have an uninstalled set of Steeda UDPs in the garage. I will look for the instructions when I get home from work and scan them to you if this will help.
