Skipping a beat on startup

Whenever I start the car for the fist time in morning, it never starts up smoothly, like it skipping a beat when cranking. But if I start it up within a few hours of turning it off, it starts fine. Normal?

Hard to say, especially since you have added some mods.

by disconnecting the batter it resets the kam in the pcm allowing your car to relearn with all your mods unless your mods are too drastic for the pcm

Mine does that too, not a big deal. I think it is fairly normal, and I don't see any harm coming from it. Mine has been doing that for the past 45K miles or so...no harm yet.

you could possibly have an injector leak down problem when sitting for hours after cooldown
