I put Sunoco 99 octane in my Honda Civic one time(Stupid, I know) All gas is essentially the same, Shell adds additives to there fuel to increase the performance( and PRICE)

I've found that my car detonates at high rpm on 87,l so I switched to 93 which turned out to be the right move.
Check out august 5.0 mustangs for real information and not anecdotes.
