I remember when i had a new '01 SVT Lightning. It had an Eaton Roots and that baby would really whine.

That is exactly waht i was looking for. Thank you Don.

I dont race on the streets and i dont race for money, so its mosly for my own personal prefrence on it being quiet. Id like to run 8-10psi with a semi-loud exhuast (not loudmouths or anything that loud) just to cover it up a bit. I had been thinking a lot about the wipple and KB for a while, looks like the KB would be best for what im looking for.

Nitrous is awsome, but i get tired of having to get it filled every week

The tranny is doing fine so far... 10,000+ miles and over 400 runs at the track. But the torque converter is not right... never has been.

And as of last weekend, I've dropped back to 10psi. Both of my local tracks have asked me to slow it down or get a roll bar. I'm working on getting the cage, so until then... 10psi it is.

Same here. At idle, when everything else is quite, you can hear a little bit of a whine, but once you get on it, the exhaust will drown it out, can't really hear it at all. Actually, the intercooler pump whining is probably just as loud as the supercharger at idle, so it's not really "loud" at all, but some people have asked if it was supercharged just from hearing it at idle. It's the loudest intercooler pump I've ever heard, might swap it out with something quiter one day.

Yea, I definitely need to replace the TC. The one I had rebuilt by Art Carr doesn't flash right, and doesn't always lock up when it should. I just haven't decided what I'm going to replace it with, or when.

I've seen estimates for a 6-pt chromoly roll bar (with removable swingouts) in the $1500-$1900 range. But, I'm working on trying to get one much cheaper.

I've driven Rons car(94tbird), his KB is dead quiet, even at @ WOT. I believe he is running 10 psi!

My Paxton is quiet I think very slight whistle at idle.

Hey Don I had Adam put an Art Carr in mine never liked it went to a PI 3000 triple clutch much better flash. I love it but the lock up wow does it hit hard.

How much was your PI? Unless I decide to get a custom TC made, I'm leaning towards the PI triple. My Art Carr POS doesn't even lock up right... so I'm jealous.

900 for the part plus labor. It works real good though worth the money I think I paid 400 for the AC that did not work.
