Thumbs down

I can't believe it....Got on rpmoutlet.com to get a SLP Loudmouth exhaust. They have a K&N Aircharger CAI with the Diablosport Predator Tuner and PC kit for $499. So...I ordered it all!!

Oh Jeez...the old lady is gonna kill me..... :nono:

Oh well....now I just got to wait for it to come in....

I have read a lot about the K&N and The SLP Loudmouths....but was undecided on the Tuner...

How much hp and ft/lbs should I realistically expect ? @ 30 HP???

Anyone have this setup? Any Input at all?

He should see a little bit of a torque gain from the SLP.

I was leaning to the Magnaflows too...but then I saw the video of the SLP vs. Magnaflows..I really liked the raspiness (?) of the SLP. The Magna's are a more of a burble...still nice but a little mellower than I was looking for.

Figure an ice cold six pack of Adult beverages and a few hours of my time is worth the extra HP and fun !

Let me know how your's works out...

This is the same setup I'm looking at myself. I may opt for the Flowmasters rather than the SLPs. My car is a daily driver, I'm not convinced the SLPs would be too loud for my liking on something I drive daily :P.

I should have everything this afternoon, I like that low rumble of those Magnaflows, and this is a daily driver, beleive me I searched for every sound clip for all of the systems out there, finally made up my mind to go with the Magnaflows because I plan on installing the JBA shorty headers next ! I think that combo will be just right.

Anyway, I will have all of this stuff on this weekend, I'll let ya know.

I installed the K&N CAI last night, the install was fairly simple, and the instructions are good, first impression, the car is running like a scalded dog, no issues at all !

Ford did not install the hydrocarbon trap in my GT, so it is not in the K&N, no issues at all.

Youre gonna like it !

By the way, I have the Diablo sport as well, I did not tune the car last night, I am waiting to hear back from diablo sport, I wanted to get more info from them before tuning, as the K&N is not a custom tune available on the predator, the only custom tunes are for the C&L and the steeda CAI..

Thanks for all the info I just placed my order for the K&N + pred kit today and was told I may see it next Wednesday or so. So I asked them about the HC trap I told them that my car did come with it and I took it out. So will I have to put it in when I get the Aircharger kit or not even with the predator? I also will run the 87 tune in my car just for gas price reasons around here. The other thing I didnt know was that they will upgrade the predator for free if any other tunes come out
