Well gang I finally pulled the trigger on the Brenspeed non intercooled V3 blower kit for my 07 Mustang GT. Its a long time comin as I wanted to supercharge this car since I bought it new back in July of 2006.

I've been waffling back and fourth on which blower to buy for years now. The last few months I've been weighing pros and cons on all of them. Roots, twinscrew, and centri. It's was a tough decision with all the options out there now.

In the end I just wanted some nice additional power to hang with some of the new 400+ horsepower cars out there now. Brenspeeds V3 kit has gotten great reviews from everything I've heard.

I'll be doing the install myself and then having the a/f ratio verified on a local dyno.

I'm getting blown baby!!!!!!!

 

Let us all know how the install goes......I am looking to install my own SC when I get one. I hear it is suppose to be not too hard to do.....just a lot of steps and as long as you follow through with the instructions most guys should be able to do it on their own.

Are you fairly mechanically inclined?

Congrats and welcome to the blown club ... Don't forget to get a large can of "Get this sh_t eating grin off my face" , you'll need it for the first month or so ...

 

I just installed a procharger last week. Bit of a pain but well worth it. With you not having the FMIC should be able to wrap it up in a day. Took me about 12 hours altogether.

Congrats! Just finished my Whipple H.O. Kit install myself and had a lot of fun. Definitely a little tricky on some steps but just read twice and do once and you'll be fine. Pretty cool feeling to say that you did the work yourself.

Thanks for the replies. I'm not a professional auto tech by any means but I'm comfortable turning wrenches. I've already read the online instructions on Vortechs website 5 + times. I'm sure there will be a few head scrathers but it doesn't look like anything that can't be done with time, patience, and the right tools. Not sure when I'll bolt it on. I'd like to have it done by the end of April.
