procharger on high mileage engine?

My Gt is approaching 90,000 miles. Id like to put a intercooled procharger kit on it in the near future. Would it be safe to say that id need new rings and seals throughout the engine before i even consider putting a procharger on it?

the car has been worshiped.. oil changes every 3000 miles and never abused

My car has 91k on it , had a MagnaCharger put on at about 30k , and I've had no problems and I still don't add any oil between changes. I use RP and I change it at 5k or less ...

Wow that's impressive and good to hear! So basically if you take care of your ride like you should, you shouldn't have any problems?

+1 on the compression test ... Mine was put on early while the motor was still fresh , but if your engine has been maintained properly and is currently in good condition , i.e. the compression test , you should have no problems. Once you get the S/C the most important things are the tune and watching your A/F ratio ...
