Question Tunes from Blow-By Racing ?

Hi,
Looking into a JLT intake w/ SCT and tune for my Dad. LateModelResto is $100. less than American Muscle but I havent heard of their tuner, Blow-By Racing.
Anyone have their stuff or an oppinion on them?

Thanks.

BBR is hit and miss on their tunes and their response time can be slow ... After a couple of tries they may get your car dialed in and they may not. I have heard great things about them and I have heard awful things about them.....

I'm local to BBR and I'm currently running Chris' tune on my S/C'd car and he is considered one of the best tuners around here. All my work had been done by Steeda and I had always run a Steeda tune , but with their new facilities in GA I wasn't sure how long they would be in the area and I wanted a tuner that is local. So when it came time to upgrade my TB to the FRPP 62mm I decided to have BBR do it and of course the tune for it. Mine is a dyno tune and not a mail order tune , so I can't speak for mail order tunes , but my tune is spot on with my A/F ratio always in the low 11's and he got 460/440 at the wheels. They're small compared to other places and Chris has to do most of the work , so I can see that as Sean said they could be slow to respond. Of course being in the area I just go stand in front of his desk , so I don't have a problem with response times ...

There engine tune is fine but I can't recommend them based on them not being able to alter my lockup schedule.

Not sure what you mean by "alter my lockup schedule" ? SCT tuners have a set number of times you can lock and unlock a tune from a car , is that what you mean ? If so , that is set by SCT and as far as I know only they can change that ...

For the locals, we are still here in Pompano, and are not going anywhere.

Just wanted to get that out there
