Glad someone is getting some updates. I am waiting on ProCharger R5 to support 2006 Mustangs.

Todd , is that something I can download without messing up the custom tunes that Scott did for me ? Or do I need to stop by and have them load it ...

Yess finaly! I can now update my predator. I was waiting for a good revision to come out before I touched my programer again. Woo HOO!!! Now I need some 4:10 gears. Another weird thing is that my speed limiter has kicked in again and I cant go past 125 in 4th gear???

Well I updated my Predator with R28 today and tried to load my C&L MAF 93 octane tune. After booting the Pred about 5 times while in the car, the FRG file finally read and my C&L tunes were available.

I elected to modify the tune as always, changed the fan ON temps as always, and proceeded to the traction control setting. I selected traction control and the options were; 'off', 'on', and 'no change'. I selected 'off', thinking that this would cause the traction control to be 'off' when starting the car, but that I would still be able to turn it on at will, such as when it is raining.

After the tune was loaded, I started the car. The TC 'off' button was lit as I expected. Then I noticed that the TC indicator on the speedo was also lit (unacceptable). Then I tried to turn on the TC to no avail (also unacceptable IMO).

Maybe I an off base here, but what I wanted was TC to simply be 'off' as the default, when the car is started. I don't want to never be able to use TC and I certainly don't want an extra amber light on my dash all of the time.

If someone finds that I did something wrong, please let me know, but for now I am back on R27.

I don't think anything is wrong/incorrect. I have read that if you get a custom tune from some shops, they can turn off the traction control as well, but it is off and can not be turned back on unless you change the tune. I don't think there is a way to have it off by default and be able to turn it back on just by pressing the TCS button.

Sorry for the bad news.

I agree with Dysan... that was my understanding as well. Once OFF, always OFF.

Add this to your wish list next year:

T/C Adapter

This remembers what setting you left it in. I just got mine and haven't had time to install it. Maybe I can get it done tomorrow. Turn T/C off and it stays off, it starts snowing turn it back on while driving by hitting the button. Next time you get in the car it's on. It's really just a module that remembers your last choice and pushes the button for you. It's a commercial version of what this guy did on the bmw's. So if you want to spend the time you can probably do it for $1.50.

BMW Homemade T/C Disabler

To me it's well worth the $60 considering how sad I would be if some honda civic beat me because my ProCharger and T/C where fighting with each other.

thats such an easy circut to build. The only reason you use the capacitor is when the car is turned on there is voltage applied to the switch and then released from the capacitor making the car think that the circut is being completed just like when you push the button! Its easy and simple.

Looks like you can turn off the exhaust sensors now under a new OBDII menu so you can install off road x/h pipes

I just got around to putting in r28 today
