Thumbs up

I just had my Bassani high flow cats and x-pipe installed. The guy who installed my x-pipe will also be inspecting it. He said in PA, there must be no codes when they plug in to the emissions computer. When I got home I was naturally curious if there were any error codes. So I checked it with my Predator and found these three codes:

P0325 Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Bank 1
P0330 Knock Sensor 2 Circuit Bank 2
P1000 OBD Systems Readiness Test Not Complete

So I cleared them out and drove the car around the block getting up to 65 mph on the main road. Came back checked codes again and what do you know? The same three are back. I don't need inspection yet, but how can I get these to stop showing up and should I be worried? Before the high flow cats and x-pipe, I was not getting error codes with every other mod listed below.

Here are all my mods on my auto tranny GT:

1. C&L Performance CAI with the C&L 93 octane tune altered to -5 global spark for 87 octane
2. Ford Racing Performance parts Hi-Flow shorty headers
3. Bassani X-Pipe high flow cats installed
4. Bassani Axle back

The ones I bought were for the 2004. I couldn't find any specifically labeled "2005". You might have found my problem as I thought the extenders should be the same. Am I wrong? If so who has the proper 2005 extenders?

My biggest thing right now is will these trouble codes cause problems if I keep driving the car? I am getting the codes, but no SES light. I will try going back to the stock air box and stock tune as I understand no tune is required for the exhaust setup. I'll post my findings afterwards.

As per your suggestion black gt 2005, I put the stock box back on. I also disconnected the battery for abot 1/2 hour and installed the origianl tune. I am still getting the errors on the Predator. I'll have to wait until I go through a tank of gas since I just filled up with 87, unless one of those octane booster products really work (I have always been skeptical of those products).

I have been reading about knock sensors and I'm wondering if the vibration from the Bassani exhaust may be setting them off?

A knock sensor being triggered would generally indicate detonation would it not?

I just put the C&L 93 octane tune on my car today and I could have sworn I heard some pinging (I could have been imagining things) so I checked for trouble codes with the Predator and found nothing. If there was indeed pinging/detonation the Predator would have picked it up correct?
