ordered the flowmasters!!

After reviewing tons of posts, waying the pros and cons, waffling back and forth between companies, I decided on the Flowmasters. I hope that they sound as good as the flows did on my old 66 and 65 fastbacks. Fyi ordered them today through summit racing, should be here tomorrow.

they might not be as loud as you expect, but you'll probably love the tone they give :-)

Dustin, have your mufflers ever rattled? I am on my second set of Flows, and they just started rattling too. I love the way they sound, especially with an O/R X or H-pipe, but I just don't think they are made very well. There is another guy in town who has had his replaced three times.

Mine haven't rattled at all. I love the sound and I like the fact they aren't overly loud. They make a great sound at WOT but are very livable on the highway.

The new ones heading out the door now should be free of any issues with rattling, if you do have that problem Flowmaster will replace them. Odd that he had to replace them three times, maybe he got old stock?

I love my Flowmasters and no problems in the 4 months I have had mine. IMO They are the perfect balance, not overly loud, but definitely much more aggressive than stock. As mentioned earlier, WOT sounds sweet.

I just posted in the poll. I have always loved the unique sound of Flowmasters on other cars I have had them on. I have Pypes Violators on the car right now which I think are too loud at WOT. My Flowmasters should be delivered from Summit also tomorrow. I hope were both happy with them.

Dang Retro, I wish we would have gotten in touch earlier. When I get my replacement Flowmasters, I was wanting to sell or trade, possibly for Violators.

Sam, I apologize for being negative. The Flowmasters do sound great, and will definitely turn heads. One thing that is fun to do is to spot a guy outside, like at a gas station, push in the clutch and rev it up as you drive by, then watch him almost fall down from turning around too fast

I know choosing an exhaust is hard, but waiting on shipping is even harder. Atleast yours arrives tomorrow. I've been waiting for my borlas for two weeks now and it appears I have 2 more weeks of waiting.

Yes I am on my third set. Flowmaster assured me that the problem has been resolved. We'll see.
