I was planning on it up until I wrecked my car. And right now I am not going to change anything until I get cams in it. The only experience I have with Stingers is hearing them on a stock GT that was at my buddys shop and I couldn't hardly tell a difference from the factory mufflers.

Thats kind of shocking, but I guess its all the more excuse for me to go with a new mid pipe

Don't get me wrong, I've heard the Stingers with an aftermarket setup and they sound very nice. If I could, I would still like to try a set. In contrast though, the first thing I did to my car was a set of MAC mufflers and they sounded MUCH better, and louder, than the stock ones.

No worries, I get compliments on my setup all the time...I am content with the overall sound I just wish I could make it louder. This is where the Bassani X comes into play

Oh haha, I did not even see you were running them! You are right on the money on that, an X pipe will definitely help you in making them louder. When I swapped in my X for the H, it was staggering the difference it made

I've not decided on what setup to go with yet. I am just gonna wait until someone gets ARH LT's & Catted H-Pipe with Flowmaster A/T's and posts a sound clip. Then I will compare it to Pypes O/R H & Flows. If I get the O/R H I will weld in Pypes High-Flow Cats to pass emissions, get rid of the raw exhaust smell, and make it alittle quieter. That idle video of O/R H, Flows, and Stg. 3 Comp Cams sounds really good.

I love the loudness of no cats and I loved the stingers at idle but at minimum throttle it sounded like a tin can.... which i didn't like.... I'm still in the works of trying to find a muffler that is built like the stingers but small enough for me to weld into the middle section of the exhaust right after the crossover. I have som bullit style mufflers welded in there now and its pretty good but a little poppy

Well this is exactly what I plan to run, so I hope it sounds good!
AR 1.75 LTs (I want the performance of LTs), high flow catted H (I want the sound deep, not tinny, and need to pass visual emissions testing), and I already have the Flows of course. Now if American Racing would just finish up that H-pipe!

I am running the Flowmaster AT axle back and it sounds great. However I would like to later down the line I would like to get and aftermarket H-Pipe with high flow cats (not anything on the market that I can find at this point) Also would love to get a CARB exempt headers but can't find anything on this either

Jim so your 100% sure we can pass Inspection here in RR with the LTs as long as we are running cats, and the car is not throwing any codes?

Also when you get your LTs who is going to modify your tune?

Are the SLP Loudmouth axlebacks with stock everything else really as loud as ppl say?

Do they get annoying when your on the highway driving?

Also, the MAC axlebacks...are they as loud or nearly as loud as the SLP's?
