Well all hope of clips has come to a violent hault. I wrecked my car on Tuesday, and am having to pay out of pocket to get it back on the road. So if I can sell all my extra parts, then I will. And along with them, the hopes of swapping it all back on to take soundclips! Ah well....

I was following a buddy of mine out of a parking lot onto the main road, and as he turned right, I followed right behind without looking left. A guy hauling an equipment (lawncare) trailer swerved, and his trailer ran all the way down the side of my car. I have some very flattering pictures that I could post if I had the camera with me.
Luckily enough, I never touched the guys truck, just his trailer.

Its Over!!
6 Months later and I have my car back, woo! There will be another thread chronicling that whole ordeal.
Anyhow, after the Violators have had a proper breaking, I have finally found my sound! These things get deeper and much nastier with time So for now, my journey has officially ended, until I put cams in and then we will see what that does

Well, I have been thinking on what setup to go with. What do you think would sound deeper and meaner:
Flowmaster A/T's with Pypes H-Pipe & welded on Pypes High-Flow Cats or
Flowmaster A/T's with ARH Catted H-Pipe & ARH 1 5/8" LT's?

I am going to say the first combo would probably be deeper. The reason I say that is because when I installed my LTs, it really mellowed out the sound and actually made it a little more tame. One combo that I ran with the stock manifolds sounded INSANE, and the same combo ran with my LTs was nowhere near the original noise level.

So should I just go with the Pypes O/R H-Pipe with Welded On High Flow Cats? The guy at the place my dad went to said just get a Bigger H with High Flow Cats to make the sound deeper and throatier. Maybe alot of airflow makes the tone hard to hear, and the headers might make that effect.

Since the exhaust is so easy to work with, my suggestion to you would be try it once with just the offroad H pipe. I don't believe it will be as loud as you think it will be. There is also the possibility I am dead wrong, because the term "loud" is pretty subjective. But it wouldn't be anything to go back under there afterwards and put the cats in if you are not digging the sound.

I could just install the O/R H to see how loud it is. If its too loud I could weld on High-Flow Cats.

I would say the same one, as I dont think LTs would make it any deeper. Irregardless of sound though, if you are planning on going with headers, DO IT! Good power gains, and the install is not that bad if you can use someones lift for a day. Then you'll never have to worry about cats again
And once you get your headers on, then you can fine tune how you want it to sound. Since you run the chance of getting it sounding just the way you want it now, then throwing headers on there and not liking the new tone.
