Ok, I have the K&N. Have everything almost put together, but i'm stuck on something stupid. Any secrets to putting on this edge trim on the heat shield correctly? can start putting it on, but cant get it to fit right in the corners or the round edges. It's probably something simple, butits getting the better of me.

I cut a V shape in the slide-on part at the corners. Do not cut through the rubber gasket material as that will bend easily around. Was able to make it around the rounded outside corners okay without cutting using a rubber mallet to tap/bend around them.

I actually spread apart the metal in the gasket a tad just to slide it on better and then once on I pinched it tight. Work with it a little bit and you'll get it.

Thanks for the help. Managed to get it on. A little snip here and there made it a bit easier. Don't think I want to be trying to put this on at midnight, so I think I will wait till tommorrow to put it on.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
