I'm obviously no expert, but I have seen it said that the UCA is more important for better rear axle placement than the LCAs. I don't know how true that is, it's just something that's been floated around. I will say, that if you change that out you WILL get more NVH in the cabin as that is quite the direct link to the axle.

Really??? I think the modding is half the fun of getting to the end. Seeing how one thing improves on the next. I would always rather do it as a progression that all at once. It kinda makes you appreciate the car a little more w/ each new mod.
I don't know to each their own; right?

I might go with the UCA but with the heim joint. I have had too many issues with poly bushings binding. My car already has some NVH so what's alittle more?
I hear that changing the UCA is pretty hard but the upper mount is a real pain. Anyone know if you should do both or is it ok to skip the upper mount?

Grow a sack and put some VSR cams in... some nice Comp 127300's with some springs to handle the 0.490" lift!!
My car is already faster than yours with the 3.55s in the back, once I have my 4.10s and comp cams installed I'll walk you as bad as CaliHPAddict did when he had the Saleen blower on his car!

I agree, when I did my LCA's they didn't totally eliminate my wheelhop. Once I added the UCA, the rear stayed planted even with the driest/gripiest burnouts. I only experienced wheelhop with my ET Streets, never on street rubber. For me its insurance for my spider gears, wheelhop kills them. I killed an Auburn Pro once lol.
I did the LCA's first and then the UCAs, like ManEhawk said, the LCAs really helped kill the wheel hop but it wasn't totally gone until i installed the UCA. And, no, you don't need the upper mount. I don't have it and haven't had the wheels hop with the UCA. And I've tried to fry my old (street) tires right before I had them replaced. If they didn't hop then with a 4k launch, they're probably not going to. I did remove the upper mount to get more room to take the top bolt off and it was a kind of a PITA in some ways, but overall not that bad. I did have to remove the rear seat and get the bolts from the cab, but it wasn't that bad.
