Well another update on my x-pipe saga....still nothing....I have neither received my x-pipe nor heard a word from Magnaflow since April 28th.......yet another week has passed with no word :bang: As of April 28th they were supposed to ship within 2 days and I was promised I would be notified via e-mail once shipped......well nothing yet....this is getting really old.

And yet my credit card was charged back on February 21, 2005........
I just came across and read this thread.......Sorry to hear all the problems, Brad.
Hope your pipes come in tomorrow!

It looks like Magnaflow needs to step up to the plate and try to save face. I think a total refund is necessary, public apology and a free complete system with install. I personally would have never ever thought that a company would allow this to go on as long as it has.

bottom line....... FIX IT THIS PROBLEM NOW

Bradley, I hope the reason you're not on the board is because you are busy installing your new pipes?

Guys -

This is Danny with MagnaFlow. Brent and I have been working together on this issue. As Brent previously mentioned, our initial x-pipe only fit the very early-production GTs. We were informed that there would be no changes to the exhaust system by the OEM that would affect fitment of our prodeucts, but this obviously did not happen. No problem, but we had to go back and redesign it. Then we had to implement it into production. It's easier said than done guys, so while you can berate us for bad customer service and imply that we don't care because we're taking so long, please understand that it just cannot happen overnight. Especially when we strive to get it right. The new, updated catted x-pipes(15448) are currently shipping and we think you will be thrilled with them. Hot Lap's was shipped last week. We sincerely apologize for the delay and the inconvenience. Thanks for your attention.

Green67, I may have missed the answer to my following question somewhere in this thread, but does your x-pipe w/ high flow cats require a tune?

Thanks

Danny - I appreciate your response and still have not received the new pipes. I had asked that someone call or e-mail me when they were shipped - and had not recevied any notice - so was assuming they had not shipped as of yet. Can you provide me with a tracking number - so I can find out where they are? Before reading this message - I left Brent a v-mail this morning.....if you provide me with the tracking number - tell Brent no need to call back....and Danny I want to be clear with you and Brent - none of my posts have been personally directed at anyone at Magnaflow - but you need to realize that the most important thing when you are having an issue with a customer is communicating with that customer - even if you call to say no update - but we are still working on it.....it shows your intent to do the right thing by your customer, and keeps the customer from feeling that he/she has been forgotten about.......I do appreciate your postion there at Maganflow (last minute product changes, etc.) and hope to have this worked out very soon. Thanks!!

Creedog - No, a tune is not required. Just plug and play, my man!
