guaging interest in an auto shifter
#1127
Hey Subzero, I just got the word that TCI is releasing their ratchet shifter for sale. Before I make a decision to go in that direction I'd like to know what the status is of the B&M option? Any word you can share would be appreciated.

Actually for ANYONE who may still be interested I need a test car!!!. Sooner the better. We believe we have finally worked out a solution and we need to install a shifter in a car and have an "enthusiast" test it out for a week or two...if anybody is interested send me a PM...
heres my attempt at a write iup

Can you forward this to B&M? Maybe they learn from you and get their shifter out ALREADY!!!
It's been over a year and nothing happens. You use a shifter that they already have in stock and make it work, they have all of these engineers and computers, and come out EMPTY.B&M are you reading this???

I can advise all of you that are tried and true forum member here; soitsaV6 has graciously agreed to try out our shifter in his car and let us know if all is good?.. If so, then we will release and being taking orders immediately!..Heck, mamma didn't raise no dummy. if we can beat him to the punch with him installing our own shifter in his car, we might as well recruit his services to make sure all is good to go on our new one huh...=)

no it does not look like the old style megashifter. it is more modern looking and uses a "quicksilver" type shifter mechanism and its along those lines in appearance
