The GT Performance Timeslip Thread

My first time ever at the strip.
Only got one run, heat-soaked after an hour and a half drive, spare tire on board, and I shifted into 4th (probably won't do that again). I can see this is going to be addictive!
R/T: .694
60': 1.982
1/8: 8.525
1/4: 13.233
MPH: 104.01

I won't even bother posting my newest timeslip, (this list is my baby and I have yet to put up a decent time)
I went to the track, it was 50F there, they were calling for sun, but it was only out 1/2 hour. My (and everyone else's) 60' time was horrible and I only managed a 13.7 @ 105MPH. Had the sun been out I would have done much better. I'll have to wait for springtime probably

Well, I ran on the last Wednesday nite T&T at Milan yesterday for 2006 and bettered my times a little. I'd scan the timeslips in but I got the yellow copies and you really can't see them too well so here's the results.
Best time:14.10 @96.9 w/ a 2.31 60 ft.
Actually was pretty consistent on my 60 ft., but still need to get it down to a 2.0, tried 27 psi in the rears and leaving at 2500 rpms on the brake (and yes, I fully released the brake too!!). I'm sure my 260 lbs. doesn't help my times but I'd appreciate any ideas for improving them before I get any more mods. Hopefully, this spring I'll have a CAI and tuner (from Bamachips) along with some suspension (BMR) work.

Guys- I need a little advice. I've only run the car once, but I'd like to learn whatever I can from that run.
What would be the most likely cause of me running a 13.2 with only a 104 trap speed? I did shift into 4th, which I suspect slowed me down at the end- any ideas? My slip is posted a few posts above. Thanks.

My car works well. But today its like she drunk 10 liters of red bull. one of my run, my speed was 110.880. usualy i'm at 108. I should say that it was around 9°C today. and i was spinning hard in 1/2 shift and 2/3. last week i get a 1.98 60" and make 13.05 with a 1.90 normaly i should run something much faster, but i was spinning hard today.
I'm on the same track as thump_rrr
