Amen brother.

You gotta be chompin at the bit to get that baby in. I'm watching closely Tom.

I am once again (lime) green with envy! You know you are going to have to give me a ride the next time we meet up. Keep up the good work and post lots of photos.

Maybe you can make the unveiling a Central Florida TMS get together.

Just a thought.

Fastlane is awesome! They've got some ultra cool rides.

The official unveiling is scheduled for November 15th at the Jack Roush show in Tampa! I have two weekends to work on it, so that should be more than enough time.

Just wondering, I have LT Headers, would I be able to get a turbo, still using my LT's? Or would I have to take them off and sell em before a turbo??
I will also be watching this write-up closely too. Good luck Trooper

Im well over 500 for 5000mi or so and beat on it every day, its really in the tune. And the weak link on our 3V is the rods, we might throw in a forged set and see how far we can push the stock pistons.

I think you would have to take them off, but you could call Granatelli to make sure. And thanks! The write-up should take off this weekend. It won't be a full blown step-by-step write up, but I'll post pictures along the way.

Exactly!

The same person who made the "canned" tune. That tune would be good enough and some people set it at 7psi and forget it. His name is Scott Beer from South Florida Tuning. It will be done in Melbourne at Trickpro Motorsports.

Newest update:

I'm going through all the parts getting ready for this first weekend. What you see in those pics is only the half of it - in the boxes are all the tiny pieces.

It's somewhat overwhelming, but I'll just do one step at a time (there are close to 90 steps to the install).

I really wanted to call in tomorrow to get a 3-day weekend, but I'll just wait.

While I'm waiting for the weekend, I guess I'll post this to see if anybody can help me:

I think I'll get a Boost/Vacuum gauge instead of a Boost Pressure gauge. If I only have 8psi, it seems silly to have a gauge that goes up to 30 (that's the lowest I can find). This one goes up to 20, and I can watch the vacuum, too:

Ultra-Lite

The Ultra-Lite will go good with the IUP.

Just have to figure out where to hook it up - any vacuum line? But do all vacuum lines see the boost?

Yes, I'm a noob when it comes to forced induction.

Any help on what type of gauge (boost/vacuum or boost pressure)? And where to hook it up?

I have the Autometer Cobalt vac/boost gauge and even though it goes to 30psi, I still love it. You can install a "T" on the vacuum line that runs to the fuel pressure regulator, in the driver's side fuel rail.

Here you can see where I tapped into the fuel crossover line for my fuel gauge; below it is the "T" for the boost gauge on the vac line I mentioned above.

I have to tie into that line for the Blow-Off valve, too (I think). It says "the blow-off valve must be activated by intake manifold pressure". It also says to connect to "an intake manifold source such as the OEM fuel pressure regulator". I'm guessing that's where I tee the blow-off valve to. It seems pretty obvious.

Then, I guess I can put a second tee for the gauge in the same line?
