Got my Whipple!

Picked up my car yesterday, I had CJ Pony Parts in Harrisburg, PA do the install and tuning. All in all, I must say they did a wonderful job. Originally, I was going to go with Tillman, but the shop is around 3 hours away and CJ's is about an hour and a half and they are highly recomended on the FRPP home page, if that counts for anything. The Whiple H.O., Cobalt Gauges, install and tunning ran in at 8000.00. My dyno numbers are 470.27rwhp/444.03TQ on a dynojet, it is an auto with JBA LT's/highflow cats, Powerhouse DS, 3.73 FRPP, Magnapacks.

It is a totally different car, I was a little worried at first about the power, however, I don't take it to the track and very rarely hammer it as I am in the DC area and traffic is a monster..... But from stoplight to stoplight is a blast and when I get out on the Beltway with little traffic I can let her go, had it up to about 120 with pleanty more to go.

Wait 'till it gets cooler out, you'll really feel the torque. Summer/winter difference feels like 60-80 hp easy.

The 3.73's are perfect for the Auto with the S/C. I had 4.10's in my last Mustang Auto and it was just to much for me.

3.73's are the way to go with the Whipple HO kit for the best all around feel. I took out the 4.10's....too much for the street tires and put the 3.55's back in, but I'll be moving to 3.73's soon.

Somebody needs a signature update!

We're doing an auto Whipple on the 25th/26th with 3.31's. It's the 10PSI HO intercooled.

Whipple just announced HUGE price increases, too.

Good time to get in on it before they go up $1000 bucks.

Are you talking about me. If so, thanks for the reminder on signature. WOW, sure glad I pulled the trigger when I did on the Whipple!
