I'm not sure if an intercooler would cure this, or simply just help a bit, but heat soak did conspire to slow down my car at the track. My best run of the entire day (12.57 @ 110.18) was the first run, and the next best run (12.69 @ 109.74) was accomplished by letting the car sit and cool down for about 45 minutes. Hot lapping (runs about 5-10 minutes apart) put me into the 12.7's and 12.8's at 108-109 mph.
