Front Strut Mounts - Steeda or GT500 ? Have strut popping...

Its all torque to yield stuff for whatever reason (greater clamping load????) but I dont think Ford had screwing the end user in mind. I actually see alot to T-T-Y stuff on newer vehicle suspensions - applications where there really isn't a enthusiast community that mods the vehicle - Its probably a better way if putting things together.

The suspension bolts are NOT TTY bolts.
TTY bolts are used primarily for cylinder heads. Real TTY bolts will require you to tighten them down to a certain Tq Spec then go a 90* arc. The suspension bolts do not have this and are NOT TTY bolts.
The reason Ford recommends replacing them is they figure by the time the customer brings the car in for repair work to the suspension that the stock bolts will be rusted up pretty well and want them replaced as a safety measure.
