engine cut off in 4th gear
Check the TSB for the fuel pump and sender........... it will cause momentary hesitation when you get on it after you've been cruising at a set speed. Scared the crap outta me the first time it happened.....
What's the fix for the TSB?
The fix is a new fuel pump assembly. The dealer can do it in about an hour, though sometimes the problem is getting them to "replicate the problem". I had no trouble getting mine done because I handed the TSB to the service manager and told him what the car was doing as he read the TSB. He looked at it, and said "yep, that's the problem" and had the car on the rack 5 minutes later.
Yep, Steve is right. Dealer replaced my pump and sender unit, all I did was print out the TSB and said "This is what its doing". Next day, dropped the car off at 8 and picked it up at noon, no charge.
That was before I installed the blower, though.....

I think I might have this and was just curious....
can't find the TSB on the fuel pump
And yes, tune the car back to stock before you take it in. They updated my PCM I'm pretty sure when I had mine done. I don't have an aftermarket tune, but I think they did flash my computer to the latest version.
