I thought I saw a few threads on lag during cruising at highway speeds. I think there is a TSB for it.

Check the TSB for the fuel pump and sender........... it will cause momentary hesitation when you get on it after you've been cruising at a set speed. Scared the crap outta me the first time it happened.....

The fix is a new fuel pump assembly. The dealer can do it in about an hour, though sometimes the problem is getting them to "replicate the problem". I had no trouble getting mine done because I handed the TSB to the service manager and told him what the car was doing as he read the TSB. He looked at it, and said "yep, that's the problem" and had the car on the rack 5 minutes later.

Yep, Steve is right. Dealer replaced my pump and sender unit, all I did was print out the TSB and said "This is what its doing". Next day, dropped the car off at 8 and picked it up at noon, no charge.

That was before I installed the blower, though.....

I was wondering that while reading. I was thinking you found the modded mustang dream dealer. Dealer: "S/C with engine problem? No problem, we'll just give you a new engine and install the old s/c free of charge." hah

And yes, tune the car back to stock before you take it in. They updated my PCM I'm pretty sure when I had mine done. I don't have an aftermarket tune, but I think they did flash my computer to the latest version.
