Does the eibach pro-kit with stiffer shorter springs have an adverse affect on lunch due to different weight transfer? I am wondering...if i made a good decision to go with the eibachs or not...

Nah, my lunch still tastes the same.

Just kidding.

I don't notice any difference in "launches" after installing the kit.

The springs should help your launches now. Instead of the nose of the car lifting up under hard acceleration, it will now do it much less. Somebody stop me if I am wrong but...I don't think that I am!

Actually, I think you're wrong. What you want for the drag strip is for the nose to lift and the rearend to squat, therefore transfering more weight to the rear tires and enhancing traction. I just read an article in car and driver today about the mustang convertible. By all rights, the convertible should be slower than the coupe, because it is around 200lbs. heavier, but CD got their quickest 0-60 and 1/4 mile times with the convertible. Trap speeds of the three cars they have tested so far were the same, indicating essentially the same horsepower. I think the convertible turned a better time because the rear springs are 14% softer than in the coupe. This would enhance straightline traction. I, however, still like my coupe better.
