Car runs great and have had no problems what so ever, but i'm still gonna pull the plugs this weekend and i'll try post the pics here.

the oil looks fine but it is early days yet I suppose, maybe I'm just a little paranoid.
Back in my Funny Car days we used to used Kendal Nitro70W for our methanol burning engine, it was the only oil that would not break up.
Obviously 70w would be a little overkill in a street car...probably needs a good 50 HP more just to turn the motor lol a blown funny car motor typically blows loads of fuel past the zero gap rings but i'm sure there is no concern on non blown street engine.

You should probably do an oil analysis after a few thousand miles, just to be sure. I use Oil Analyzers www.oaitesting.com. They are cheap and easy to use.

well i can only say that i paid $2.99/gallon last week compared to $4.29 this morning for 93 gas. Although I haven't seen the price of e85 today.
Motor seems content with e85, still must pull the plugs again though, maybe this weekend.

My MPG is around the same as on gas without a tune as well unbelievable but true. I get an average of ca. 19/19.5 MPG and 21/22 MPG Freeway @ ca. 60/65 MPH.

Funny thing when you can see mostly vapour coming out of the exhaust I was even on my knees to sniff the mixture, you can smell how clean burning this really is.

Don't forget though although I can't think of anything that can get harmed, it will be important to check things like plugs, oil, fuel pump/lines after a while just for peace of mind.

So any pics of you SS replica yet? Can't wait to see it. What colours?

I'm surprised the stock fuel pump can keep up. Isn't the A/F ratio on E85 like 7:1 or something funky?

around 9.7 i believe. I will upgrade mine when i add nitrous. does the job fine for now.

Any dyno numbers? Just curious on what kind of gains you made from the E85 since you're NA.

Dumb question, and if there's a web link with an explanation feel free to point me in that direction, but why would the gas mileage decrease? Not that I could even consider something like this, hell the nearest E85 station to me is 2hrs away at Kennedy Space Center

Ethanol doesn't create as much power when it is combusted, hence the decrease in gas mileage.

Yep...he is right. While Ethanol is rated higher in octane it does not provide as much BTU's of energy per gallon as pure gasoline and it will reduce you gas mileage.

I'm sure there won't be any significant gains, the car is naturally aspirated. The 105 octane might give it a slight boost as I can advance the timing somewhat more as with gas thanks to lesser detonation risk and the cooler fuel.

I would like to think so, but I must be honest I don't pay for fuel anyway so it doesn't really effect me. I do however like the clean burning/higher octane fuel.
