Remember padawans, a turbo is far more efficient, but none are street legal! Unless someone has made a new kit, I think all turbo kits for the 05-07 eliminate the cats. You get a lot of go, but can't win the show!!

Now if your state doesn't have emissions testing, disregard the previous public service announcement...

A turbo has nothing to do with being legal or not...ALL turbos are legal and many of them have a Cat option or you could easily install them yourself. There are more supercharged and stock cars running around without cats than Turbo cars.

The turbohorsepower kit I believe has an option for high flow cats, thus making it 50 state legal. At least I'm pretty sure it does.

Where's the darn video?

Well 49 states maybe. You can't alter the stock cats in any way in California.

Hey Jake...
Can you do that in the daylight next time? Us old farts don't see after dark that well.

Haha sure. I'm usually only awake for a few hours of daylight.

I was thinking about the Turbohorsepower kit. I have a few questions:

1) How long did it take for your kit to reach you?
2) Is the quality good?
3) I heard the kit doesn't come with an intercooler. Is it an option or standard?

Thanks!

1. It took roughly ~2 months (?) to get the kit here.
2. Quality looked good to me. There were some fitament issues but hopefully those should be fixed at this point by Jim.
3. There are 2 intercoolers to choose from and they are both options.

Here's the website with all the options priced out:

Nope stock internals. Daylight video will have to wait until I get back to alabama.

Please excuse my ignorance, but this is something I've been wondering for awhile. With a turbo, do you still run "true" duals?
