Dyno Test Results For Steeda CAI
For anyone who may be interested, I have the long awaited independent test results, for the Steeda CAI, from Brenspeed..In addition, you'll also notice that Brent performed, a side by side comparison, with the C&L street CAI...According to the results, both systems were nearly identical in both HP. and Torque numbers..Anyhow, I hope everyone may find the test results, as both helpful and useful, in someway...
C&L Street Intake
300.07 HP/310.28 Torque
Steeda 90mm
297.60 HP/309.7 Torque
The test was performed by making 3 pulls with each air intake. The numbers above are the average of the 3 pulls.
The steeda worked great but fell short above 5,000 rpm’s, most likely due to the lack of aftermarket inlet pipe.

The Steeda is probably fine for a close to stock car, but I wouldn't choose it if I were going to do other performance mods like, heads, headers, I'd choose the C&L.

I can only assume, that the Steeda tune, was for the Steeda CAI, and the C&L tune, was the for the C&L..Therefore, you should all be directing your questions, to Brenspeed..
