Differences between Predator and SCT X2?

Neither will monitor A/F, but the x-cal2 has an aux input that will accept the signal from the $200 www.innovatemotorsports.com LC-1 wideband. Right now you have to datalog through the x-cal2 with a laptop, but in the future you will be able to display the a/f and OBD2 data right on the screen, and save it on the xcal2 (no laptop required) for later upload to a desktop PC. That will be a free over the internet firmware upgrade.

Doesn't the Diablosport read A/F ratio when hooked up to a laptop, and monitoring the car?

If you've got an auto I'd recommend the SCT. If you're banging a stick I think either would do the trick.

I'll be getting my XCal II next week as well as the LC-1 wideband! I'm taking a little trip up to Justin at Velocity Mustang Performance to get mine-(he posted above). He is very knowledgable on the SCT and is located pretty close to SCT. Great service as well!

I can't recommend the SCT Xcal2 enough. I hooked mine up tonight, it was the easiest mod I have ever done, instant 30 hp, or that's what it feels like. Totally different car, it's like it woke up the beast! Took a total of 1 minute to hook it up and download the tune. Car runs like a scalded dawg.
So easy to use, it is ridiculous. Looks cool too!

He's dyno tuning my car and installing the LC-1 and XD-1 gauge.
Can't wait!

Will either of them permanently shut off the traction control? [I asked this on Stangnet as well]...

Yep!
Actually, it doesn't permanently turn it off - it just switches the default from TCS On / User select Off to default TCS Off / User Select on. It's one of the primary advantages of the Xcal 2 over other tuners, IMHO.
