So ive been debatign for a while what my next mod will be and ive decided to do mac headers and prochamber to compliment my magnapak catback. the thing is, i dont know which to pick. LT's or shories? Im going to be installing them myself and was wondering which y'all thoguht i should get. also, for those of you who have done header installs on your cars yoruself, can u give me some hints and tips that would make it go easier for me. id probably be using four jackstand and wont have much room under the car to work.

Yes I can offer some advice on the install as I also did mine in my garage on jack stands.

Step 1: Eat your Wheaties
Step 2: Pray for patience
Step 3: Ask everyone else at home to please leave so you are uninteruppted
Step 4: Unplug the phone

Seriously: make sure you have 5 MM socket to remove the factory exhaust manifold studs and a stubby 13 MM wrench for installing the new bolts.

Pick Long Tubes if you actually want a performance increase. Also I don't think MAC tubes are stainless meaning they can rust. JBA and Stainless works are Stainless steel.

IMO yes the long tubes will provide a performance increase, but the shorties will also provide a performance increase and allow you to stay smog legal...my .02... :bang:
