Cold Air Kit

Will adding a Cold Air Kit and K&N Filter plus the required tune void your car's warranty?

Simply replacing the stock filter with a K&N one will not void the warranty.
As for the CAI kits, it seems to be up to the dealer if they accept them or not, although most of them will advise against a CAI. Legally though, they are not allowed to void the warranty unles they can prove the CAI has caused a certain problem that requires repair. Therefore, it is highly recommended to reflash the ECM when installing a CAI (most of them, at least) to avoid running too lean.

I went through my dealer for install of the FRRP Cold air kit and tune. They told me they will honor the factory warranty for my 07 as long as it is this part. Because it took over 2 months to get the tune, I was considering another piece. I had several discussions with my dealer. They sounded like they wouyld continue to honor the warranty as long as the kit came from one of the companies that Ford regularly did business with. ie, Saleen, Roush, etc.
