I hate when that happens.

Also guys if your using the K&N kit all the filter requires for re oiling is a very light misting of the oil. Just enough to get the cotton gauze colored again with the color of the oil.

I am about to oil my filter in a bit. I cleaned it before the Bears game. I applied the cleaner and boy was the water dirty when I flushed it. For the hell of it, I applied the cleaner for a second time and there was still some dirt being removed. I've had the filter on the car for roughly 20K. I ended up using a hair dryer to speed up the process like mentioned above.

K&N's instructions stated to do multiple light coats, instead of 1-2 heavy ones. In the past, I did 2-3 light coats until the media is light red.
