There is a HUGE difference in what Mike was referring to in that particular tragedy, and what went on here. It's a monster difference that to me seems clear as day.

Not all street racing is the same by any means. I too turn down loads of morons wanting to have at it at the most inappropiate times.

This was no more than being by yourself and mashing the throttle between stoplights.

From the looks of it, brake lights were on well before even an 1/8 of a mile had passed.

 

Sorry, but it didn't look like a fluke or spur of the moment thing to me. Not with the camera positioned ahead of you waiting for the "race".

And no... I do not engage in street racing at all. If I romp on it for more than a couple seconds, I am always away from other cars and crowded areas. There are a few deserted streets around where I can open it up for an 1/8-mile or so, and get my ya-yas out.

 

sorry but this didnt look like spur of the moment. you had a camera man standing on the sidewalk waiting for you two to come up.

 

Cobra driver sucked. Everyone needs to shut the $%&# up about the street racing bull. Some of you need to step off your darn soap boxes.
