Calling all Eibach Pro Kit
Eibach Pro Kit VS. FRPP
I know there has been a lot of debate on here as far as if these are identical or not. So I've decided to try and get to the bottom of this. If anyone has a set of the pro kit available, please read the spring rate numbers off their eibach front and rears. I will be purchasing the FRPPs soon and I'll do the same.
My main concern is ride height. I don't want to lower the car more than the pro kit. If the FRPP is identical...it should lower it the same. I know ford says 1.5" for the FRPP, and I know Eibach says 1.3 in the front and 1.4 in the rear, but did Ford just round up???

I've talked to a guy from eibach and a couple of vendors that say "while the FRPP springs are rebranded eibach springs, they are not the same as the Eibach Pro Kit". Its probably useless to argue it because I have had both on my car at one point and I can't notice any difference in ride quality or performance. (I stuck with the pro kit)

Got my FRRP springs in no specs on them just the ford part # and another part# 189915-1 for rear and 186823 for the front don't know what those numbers are for. Also curious if i really need to get new lca's and uca and adj panhard bar for this install? 1.5 drop in front and rear i would think pinion angle would stay the same wouldn't it since it's dropping the same in both the front and rear?

Thanks Mark! I got my Eibach's just the other day. The rear has the Eibach part number and 194787 printed on it. The front has the numbers 33 06 printed on them. What ever these numbers means is anybodys guess. I actually went to the ford dealer today and compared these two side by side. Other than the color the looked roughly the same. The Eibachs were maybe .125 to .25 inches shorter and appeared to have a more consistant pitch. However this height could vary the same from eibach to eibach as well. It also appeared slightly heavier...but this could of been my imagination..
In conclusion I'd say they were very similar...you'd have to have more advanced equip to tell any difference.
