Just installed everything(93 tune)...60 degrees outside...pulled up to the first stoplight and nailed it when it turned green...

I love my Western Motorsports cai. The most complicated to install but definently the most badass looking and I think it has the highest potential gains of any other.

 

It's nice to have choices isn't it..

Ken/Nancye/anybody, any updates on what the stuation with newer orders is? Know there were issues with tuning and the lathe but where does it all stand? Ordered back on December 14 and am getting anxious........don't want my wife to spend my money on something else .....

 

 

Just wanted to drop in and say that I received and installed Ken's revised tune. The high revs at startup were fixed and I couldn't be happier. Thanks Ken and Nancye!

I would have interested about 8 months ago prior to buying the MAC CAI System and SCT from Brenspeed. I am sure there are many others though that would give it a go.

 

Installed the polished version of this CAI and Modular Depot's 93 octane tune today. Very much changed the sound of my car......as alot have said the CAI and tune really woke up the car.

 

Any news on status of newer orders?

Workmanship - top-notch. Tune - Awesome.

This is a 25k+ miles annually daily driver so running the 87 tune. This woke up the evil temptation in the car; with an automatic, this sucker now pulls skin off the hides on every upshift...
More than worth the nail-chewing wait.....and the dirty picture slap.......

 

Just finished up installing #13. Also installed CMCV delete plates at the same time. Very very nice intake. Beautiful welds, great paint. Quality throughout. The polished heat shield is precisely cut and beautiful.

I had to trim my Shaker a bit for clearance, not much though. Took it out for a quick spin. Only put about a mile on tonight. Snowing outside, and got to get up early.

My first impressions with the 91 tune are....my car feels like a beast. Power comes on quick and strong and pulls hard to redline. Feels like there's a lot more cubes than 281.

My hats off to Ken and the rest of the staff at Modular Depot. Can't wait to make the 18 mile drive to work in the morning.
