Ford Performance M-5230-S (FR500S) awesome sound, zero drone. Were also the OEM axle back for the 40th anniversary 2008-09 Shelby GT500KR limited edition. Bad news, they're temporarily out of stock

yep, I have those FR500S mufflers on my 2010 and they sound great with the otherwise stock exhaust
the only drawback is they are relatively expensive and hard to find a deal on them; they do pop up on E-Bay or Craig's List once in a blue moon

When compared to Corsa performance exhaust, those FR500S axle backs are considered a bargain for a great sounding muffler which produces zero interior resonance drone.

muffler delete . . . and if that isn't loud enough, remove the cats . . . however, I would never do that because I don't like the idea of spending my life in that special prison for environmental criminals, LOL

A friend of mine had a muffler shop make his muffler deletes. He had them use the tips off of stock GT mufflers and the resonators had previously removed. The end result looked.stock and sounded badass.

Just keep in mind the OP's 2006 GT exhaust doesn't come factory installed with resonators. Ford didn't begin adding resonators until the 2011 model year when the Coyote 5.0 first made it's debut. Anyhow, just saying.
