Anyone running Hooker axle backs?

Really enjoyed these on other rides, after much searching I can only find 1 set of sounds clips, but there are a few comments there was more than just the mufflers installed.

Looking for loud at WOT, no drone ...good comments on the GTA's but not sure if they are loud enough

Thx

Hello...i had them on my '05 auto with stock exhaust/frpp x-pipe. I liked them...they had minimal drone and did sound really nice at WOT...at the time i was trying all different mufflers..Had JBA...too quiet...Magnapacks..too much drone..FRPP GTA's...loved them...and then tried Hookers..They had a unique sound to them..close to GTA's..but louder. I sold car with them on it...now Have'07 stick with Pypes Violators..and catted x-pipe...i like them...very light,no drone, and are pretty loud at WOT.

I have them - they have a volume increase over stock, but nothing drastic as far as I can tell. The big bump is in quality (which is a purely personal taste issue) and tone. They give a HUGE increase in bass. It's not the overall volume that sets off car alarms, it's the bass that rattles the windows in all other cars

I've heard a couple sets - including MTAS' setup once when he blew by me when I was driving the wifes nissan. LOL. They do sound very good. I went with the Pypes Violators too, as I picked up a pair at a steep discount and love them.

Hey - been trying to get footage for weeks now. I am running the Hookers with the MRT high flow catted H pipe

I had a camera with a decent mike and a section of road by my job to use when I swung by the office on Sunday

(only real mistake I made was having the windows OPEN during the in-car stuff so there is some windnoise)

If you have a sub woofer on your PC sound system, you can REALLY tell the bass the Aerochambers have. The low tones really come from them - the high flow H just makes it louder.

Take a look and see if this helps

Sound is very cool and what I am after, what is the interior drone or resonance like, do you experience any?

SURE thing man - just glad I could help.

MTAS turned me on to these, especially after hearing them in person.

I really wouldn't say there is drone. Say if you are crusing on an opens surface street at 60ish and shift to 5th for to conserve gas - at that speed and rpm, you get some bass in the cabin but I really wouldn't call it drone.

I went from Corsas (no drone and marketed that way) to these and have not been bugged at all so I would say if there is ANY, it is so minimal that I am not picking up on it.
