I just went for the Ford Racing KR exhuast (M-5230-S). I recently replaced some rusted out Flowmaster American Thunders with the GTA axle backs an they are too tame for my tastes. Hopefully the KR fits the bill!

Recently put on the GT500 a/backs, and I love them. They are similar to stock at idle
but more aggressive when you get on it. and NO DRONE at any speed (up to 100 anyway). Install is easy, cost is reasonable

Very please with my Ford Racing KR exhaust (M-5230-S). ZERO drone even with my 4.10s on the highway, just a pleasant purr. However when you open them up they SCREAM! Nice low rumble at idle. Best exhaust I have heard on these cars, and a great mix of noise and no-noise for a DD.

I picked up some Pypes Pype Bombs and they are quite a bit louder than my old American Thunders by Flowmaster. I love the louder and deeper sound, although it does occasionally trumpet. I am also running a Bassani Catted X.

So many choices. Had the FR on my 2009 now going to 2014 can't decide on the Kook's or GT500

Want a deep sound not over powering but also don't want to spend the money and not get a benefit. Concerned the GT500 won't fit the bill, but on the same note the Kook's need to be the deep throaty sound.

Anyone compared these two?

Except for the interior resonance drone when the engine is under load below 2000 RPM at cruise while in 5th gear on the highway. Other than that, I've been very pleased with how great they sound.

Well... since I haven't... might as well toss my hat in the ring...

For an overall stock 2005-2009 setup and exhaust, M-5230-GTA mufflers best mufflers. IMO of course, but I really do like the sound and look of 'em best.

/Just good luck findin' a set though.
