I'm thinking about picking the Astra Hammond one up. I've seen the CDC rear louver and decided that it's a bit too much. The AH one is more subtle. I have a black 05. Does anybody have any pics with this on? I'm especially interested in how it looks on a black 05-06. Any opinions from those who have it also would be nice. They make both aluminum and plastic. I would probably go plastic to keep the cost down. Thanks.

Welcome to TMS Night Raven. You should have posted this in the Exterior Mod section, and you'd probably get more hits. I myself don't like the rear louvers. But I'm sure some people here could help you find what you're looking for.

we are just talking about those louvers in the exterior mod forum. those seem to be the ones people prefer.

A buddy of mine with a Mineral Gray '05 bought the plastic version, and didn't like them, and tried to get me to buy them at a steal. But I can't say I liked them either, and he ended up selling them on eBay. They just didn't fit the lines of the car, in our opinion.

The CDC/MRT louvers have a more "old school" look (think 69-70 Boss or Mach 1) and I'm hoping to find either clear photos or a real example, but these appeal to me better on paper. They're a bit pricier, unfortunately...

What does the CDC Rear Louver look like? I don't like the looks of the Astra Hammond and refuse to pay $400+ for the ridiculously priced MRT Louver.

there are only 2 makes of rear window louvers right now, the fugly plastic ones and the Visus metal ones that CDC and MRT market to the public.

Quality isnt cheap, cheapskates...

Oh, if it isnt GT tech related this is not the place to post.
