Does anyone have clips of Longtube Headers, H pipe or Prochamber, into corsa axle backs. Ive heard the Corsas with a PC and H pipes and they sound good, and wondering how they sound with LTs

What exhaust will give a good interior purr while driving at normal cruising speed, similar to an older Mustang, truck, crown vic, or any car with a mid-muffler set up? Problem with the axle backs that i have heard is that the interior sound is mostly a very loud roar instead of an even purr while accellerating, can't describe it any better than that. Thanks.

The Corsas SCREAM when you take those cats outta there.
Going to have to agree with this one here.......... I have a set of Corsas on mine right now with BBK Shorty Headers and a Bassani X-Pipe w/Hi-Flow Cats.
It is LOUD .

Sounds incredible at low RPMs but is just too much when you open it up for me as a daily driver with this setup.

With stock exhaust it sounds great at all RPMS but when you open up the flow like I did it just doesn't suit my tastes. Im looking for a low deep rumble at low RPMs and a nice smooth screaming at WOTthat is louder than stock (but not too loud). I'm looking at either the new Flows that came out or Magnas. Then I will be selling the Corsas at about $400 or $450 if I have to pay shipping (not bad for only being 3 weeks old).

I see several posts about Corsa's. I assume they are the 14311's. Has anyone heard the Corsa xtreme 14314'? Haven't seen any video's or prices.

I swapped my 14311's with 14314's, I took db measurements with the 14311's but haven't done it with the Xtremes yet. I can tell you there is not much difference between the two. Evolution is where I got mine, Jegs wants full msrp for them. http://www.evoperform.com/shop/index...roducts_id=518

The Sports are round and weigh 18 lbs and the Xtremes are oval and weigh 10lbs. Here are a couple comparison pictures, the Xtreme is on the right and the Sport is the dirty one, both were painted by me.

Still hard to beat the GMS systems - all ploished 304 stainless front to back and the prices speak for themselves

Sound clip of 2.5" - http://www.gmsvideos.com/video_detail.php?mId=1360

http://www.gmsvideos.com/video/1361

Sound Clip of 3" - http://www.gmsvideos.com/video/1361

And Here is the 3" system - Header back or Exhuast manifold back

Although the picture may not show it - the entire system is mirror finished front to back

Thanks NJ3. Good to know the 14314's are a bit smaller and looks like they have the same tips as the
Corsa touring mufflers. On the sound, are the xtreme's louder, quieter, or about the same. Also, are
they quiet inside at highway speeds? I will check out what Evolution has.

Granatelli. Thanks. Haven't heard what you are showing. Will check them out before I buy.

To me the Xtremes sound the same as the Sports at highway speed. Under hard acceleration the Xtremes may be a bit louder or deeper but not by much.

Thanks. Looks to me by the pics that the Xtremes will tuck out of sight better. I think my mind is made up.
Now to save $$$ a while.

$450 for the 2.5" system. cat back - most quote 409 cheapo stainless and axle back - this system sounds great - does not drown at cruise and is real 304 stainless - includes intermediate tubes

The 3" system is header back and at only $599.00 what more can be said

I guess not but they really sound the same - I have a sound bite from my yellow Stang but that has the turbo which acts like a muffler of its own. - I think you tube has the GMS 3" system

I hate it when I go to a website and for the price it says call us. I never call. I'm not knocking you or your products I know that you sell good stuff. Just saying, You asked what more could be said
