I had them, aka stingers, on my 06 gt automatic. They sounded great, looked great but droned quite a bit around 1500 -2100 rpms. I ultimetly took them off and sold them

The chambered exhaust, those with drone, are more trouble on automatics. With a manual tranny you can keep yourself out of the drone rpm range mostly.

Corsa Exhasut

Just wanted to add my Corsa exhaust, let me say it's a lot different inside then outside, very tame and yes NO drone!

Sounds good!

How do they compare to chambered designs? I currently have Flowmaster axle-backs and they have a definite rumble. Are the Corsas quieter? Or do they just sound different? I'd hate to buy Corsas and regret it later, especially at their price point.

Well look for a used set (then you don't have to break them in either!) but I had the Hooker aerochambers before (Chambered) and I'd say they were slightly more bassy but not much and the drone under any load was really bad. Also they were much quiter then the Corsas at all RPMs.

It's very deceiving how the Corsas sound as they are quite quiet and have absolutely no drone inside but outside is a much different, if I goose it people will look, the hookers never attracted attention. If you still have the stock then you won't get that change in sound and the no drone, but for me it was a real shocker.

I'd love to here the Hookers with long tubes and an x-pipe becasue I think they would sound awesome, but as just an axleback to me there were slightly louder then stock and deeper but that's it. I'll put it this way the sound inside did not make up for the sound outside.

If you get the Corsas you have to have someone drive the car while you listen outside, you won't believe it unless you do!

I might get an X-pipe with High flow cats just to kick it up one more notch but that's it, I'm willing to bet a off road pipe with Corsas is way to loud, at least for my tastes.

What is the purpose of a resonator and will it do away with or reduce the DRONE ? Im thinking about the SLP Loudmouth.

I hung a set of Borla Stingers on my '07 GT this
past weekend. Great sound. Hearing them on youtube just doesn't give you
an idea of how nice they sound. You have to FEEL them, when you tromp down
on it.

Gotta say: I LOVE THEM!!!

I love the Stinger's on this car. Can anybody give me a clip showing me what drone sounds like? I don't think I have heard it. Maybe I have, and it just doesn't bother me

CORRECT sir

I ran them with an offroad prochamber

dude it was nuckin futs

it sounded like a NASCAR racecar

which for me was fun for the first hour - as a daily driver, it got old really quick

The Corsas SCREAM when you take those cats outta there.

Ford Racing

I just put Ford Racing Exhaust (Not Stingers) on my 08. It didn't really change the overall sound, but it gave a needed boost to the low RPM sound.

Just put B & B ( Billy Boat ) axle back exhaust on today I think they are the best sounding mufflers available if you do not want crazy loud, fit is great and the polished finish looks amazing.

I have never heard of them.

I don't really care that I didn't with that price.
