07-09 Coolant conversion kit

Hey,
Im searching for an 07-09 Saleen supercharger coolant conversion kit to buy. I can't find one anywhere, i know they make it, and brenspeed has the drop down menu if you buy a new one, but i already bought a supercharger, and now i need the coolant conversion kit to be finished...anyone know where i can purchase one outright?

Call Brenspeed and they will hook you up. When I bought my used Saleen I needed the conversion kit and I needed the bracket to mount the reservoir for the intercooler too. I called Brenspeed and they sold me the needed conversion kit and even gave me the bracket I needed. Of course I did also order the GT500 fuel pump from them too.

I think the coolant conversion kit is a Ford part that you might be able to get from Kevin Casey here. Not sure of the part number though. But the conversion kit came in a big clear sealed bag and included the radiator hoses and thermostat and housing.

Are you trying to convert the coolant hose/thermostat setup from the 2009 config to the 2006 config? If so these are the Ford part numbers you need:
  • F1VY-8255-A SEAL
  • 4R3Z-8A595-AF HOSE
  • 4R3Z-8A595-BA HOSE
  • 4R3Z-8K574-AA BRACKET
  • F5RZ-8K528-CC CONNECTION
  • 4R3Z-8592-AA CONNECTION
  • 4R3Z-8286-BA HOSE ASY
  • 4R3Z-8260-BA HOSE ASY

I’m missing something/stupid. Why doesn’t the 09’ (the one in the picture I assume) not have 09’ coolant plumbing on it already?

I know what the difference is, I had to convert my 07’ to the 06’ cooling system to get my KB to work.

I’m curious why you need a 2007+ cooling system when you already have one????

The million dollar question is what cooling configuration does the supercharger you are using need? The 2005-2006 or the 2007-present?

The part numbers I listed above are for the former. I probably have all the parts I removed from my car sitting in boxes for the latter.

If you need the post 2006 setup I most likely have everything you need and on the cheap. It’s just collecting dust. Maybe put a call into who you got the blower from and ask them exactly what you need. If for some reason you need what I have let me know.

Tell me about it brother. I think my car is more aftermarket than Ford at this point. And I only have about a million more things on my list. I need an intervention!
