All I had to do was look at it to be able to knock it. And whatever your point, whos gonna buy that? Logical thinking tells you thats NOT a good idea unless you never drive that car in the rain, and it never sees dirt, sand, snow, gravel, or any other common road perils. And ya, I know some turbos mount low to the ground, thanks for assuming I didn't. It's not that, it's the fact that it's behind the rear axle, where the car see's the most decrease in height off such things as speed bumps. And like you said, right behind the rear tire, where ALL KINDS of stuff get thrown, like rubber from burnouts, and ANYTHING that gets picked up off the road. MAYBE not a bad location for the turbo itself, but the air pickup? right...don't we usually put those AS FAR AWAY FROM POSSIBLE DEBRIS AS POSSIBLE

I view turboed cars (non-factory) as "hood up on the weekend" cars. Have to worry about heat, oil, plumbing, etc etc.

Turbos cause enough problems on cars designed with them.

I'll take the blower any day.

Nathan just completely sold me on an s/c. I wouldn't get roots or centrifugal though, twin screw only.
