ok.....

I didnt bail, i was watching movies with my 3yo----

I left out that the GT/CS is a fully loaded Convertible-----

I can actually hook the C6 3LT for 46K-----The GT/CS is at 40K

Im not going the GT550 route-----

I just wish i had a cance to drive the new 5.0

I have about 50 Ford dealers here in NJ and they are all going to call me once one lands, so i can test drive it

As of right now though-----i think im about 75% sure im on my way to Atlantic City to get the Vette

0% APR for 60 months! cant beat that! every payment goest straight to principle! and lets ALL be honest here, the Vette has a better residual and holds more value than the Mustang----

Mr.Galves has absolutely NO respect for Our Stangs

Ill keep you guys updated with what i do---

Thanks to all of those in this thread that TRULY posted their opinions

PS:Please stop breaking my ***** with my avatar, i was in hawaii and had a banging tan at the time!

It was the "chicks dig 'vettes" comment that sold you, wasn't it?

You seem like a nice guy, so I will put this politely...whoever told you that is a moron - do a quick google search and you will see that the GT550 is a non-existent car. There is no such this as a GT550 - it is a GT500 with 550 hp

The 2011 Ford Shelby GT500 will feature an all-new aluminum-block 5.4-liter supercharged V-8 engine that produces 550 horsepower and 510 ft.-lb. of torque. The new aluminum block engine will be 102 pounds lighter than the previous iron block helping it deliver better power-to-weight ratio, improved fuel economy, acceleration and handling.

At those prices? Get the Corvette.

Chicks really do dig it. It's not as common as the 'stang. Insurance is surprisingly cheaper. Faster. Corvette community is amazing. Very supportive and nice. And oh ****, the Corvette wave is awesome ****. It just feels good when another Corvette drivers waves at you. Not a gay, giddy wave. But a masculine, hat-tip wave. Sounds like it will mostly be a garage queen too. And in the end, the Corvette is so ****ing fun to drive. The only thing is that if it's base it won't come with much, and the interior in a Corvette is absolutely crap. But the doors with no handles and push start ignition and removable top take care of all of that.

Their more chics driving corvetts in this area than guys a/c p/s auto is all it took more guys drive the older ones good luck with your choice!! Their a few new Corveets running around here may disagree with the statement that it kills a gt500, Lots of b/s in that comment but that is still apples and oranges. To me if the Vette is what it use to be the price would be double a Mustang. When they started making so many the mystic just seems common.IMO

You're kidding right? The only reason the wife didn't trade in her Escape this weekend for a new 5.0 was that with both of us in it (I'm 6'4" she's 5'9") the kids have about 2 inches from the seat back of the front seat to the front of the back seat. That would make the GTO the family hauler then and it's a PITA to get in and out the back so we're waiting till the Escape is paid for. The rear seat is more for luggage than anything. I looked in the back and said no way in hell I'd fit back there. Camaros and Mustangs are 2+2's sure there's a back seat but not one'd you'd really want to get in.

Like I said, just seein' if you're paying attention.

Does it still work? That would be rare a crossfire that still works
