Is it my mufflers making my car sound horrible or is it the or/ x pipe please help I hate it

 

Xpipe it is. Swap to an H and enjoy the sweet sound.

 

Ok I thought it might be the stock gt500 mufflers

 

Will the h pipe sound good with gt500 mufflers

Whats the fascination with GT500 mufflers? As far as I know they are the same as the automatic trans GT mufflers.

Anyways I find the X-pipe cars sound best either no muffler at all or a straight thorugh design.

 

X pipe is notoriously raspy, h pipe will give a deeper tone. Regardless, the 4.6 is a raspy sounding motor, but a h pipe will help out.

 

Well guys took the o/r x off and ordered the h pipe

 

This is the exhaust sound from my '10 GT (unmodified 4.6L) with the stock H-pipe and the MRT Interceptor axleback.

These mufflers will give a deeper tone in combination with that pipe.
