FYI Back when Smokey and The Bandit II Came out Horsepower was Down from the Earlier Cars and they Used Nitrous for a Bit More Pontiac Excitement. Some of the Last Gen II Birds had a 301 Turbo Motor. You Could Tell By the Side Positioned Scoop Vs The Shaker Hood. They were Lackluster as Far as Acceleration.

On another Note I saw a Show recently where a Country Music Singer had a General Replica built and He spent a Lot of Time Apologizing for the REBEL FLAG on The Roof. He was Clearly Uncomfortable about it.

this is a no brainer, General Lee all the way,,

I think its part of the package if you choose general lee you get jessica simpson (daisy duke) with it

Well it was 180 hp,but the fun part was 325 ft/lbs. of torque @ only 1600 rpm. Can you say Smoke Show in the Bandit? We spent a lot of time in those cars back in the day and the Chargers could always blow us off in the straight line along with ever other older muscle car. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banghead.gif[/img] Remember though, out of the 1977 cars the T/A could beat them all. Those were sad years for new muscle cars.
