Found Some Competition

Chrysler press release? Cool. Uh, so, where'sit? I can't find it on Google or Allpar...
I don't doubt anyone, I think the 'verts kinda neat actually. But like Reagan said: Trust, but verify. I just wanna read it myself.
If this is the C____r (as someone at Allpar and Chargerforums calls it) then that'd be a Dodge, and the car wouldn't ever look like a 300C...
Right?

There is something WRONG about the design of that car. Didn't figure out what yet.

I usually see baby-boomers driving around in the 300 out here. Probably makes them feel gangster driving the mafia machine around. The Mustang is the car I want now, but my next car might be a 300 if they stick around for 10 years or so B)

But I hear rumors that the 425 hp Hemi will be fitted to a new Charger (source: Hot Rod magazine).
That's a scary thought.

They are not in the same pricepoint or target market, so I can't really consider it competition.
The 300C is a big, portly car (although I do like it ), the Mustang will still outrun a 340Hp, automatic Hemi C. The SRT version will beat the stang but is much more expensive.

I drove my Boss's new 300C on Thursday. Its very nice! Smooth and fast. He waited 3 months for it. I guess there is a waiting list for the Hemi.
My Boss feels that it shifts funny, so he is taking it back to be checked.
I didn't notice it during my test drive.
Overall, the 300C is not going to steal any Mustang buyers. We are talking apples and oranges here.

Oh dang! Here's some SICK competition. How many mods am I
going to have to do now to catch up? Better Car-Jack Jay Leno soon.

I am starting to think that GM designers sit down at meetings at the development of a new car and say, "How ugly can we make this thing?"
Oh yeah, add the Malibu and Malibu Maxx to that list. :notnice:

I don't care what kind of engine that thing has. It looks like a wanna-be Bentley or Rolls Royce. GM is completely exploiting the Hemi. By the time they potentially produce something worthy of it like the charger everyone else is going to be tooling around town in their magnum wagons, and 300C's. I'd take the mustang over that any day.

the mustang has a big grill. the kia somehting looks like the 300 which looks like a bently.
SUVs have big grills. Look at cadillacs car line up the grills are awfully big as well. The magnums and dodge trucks have big grillz.
