Driving fast is dangerous, I'm scared! I never go over the speed limit, except on days that end in "y".
This was achieved on a close course test track with professional rider, for you safety guys.

l ya, I had a Nissan dealer bragging about how the 350 would take me after HE stops me at a market to look at my car. MAN that pissed me off!!!! and at that time I had no way of knowing he was not right since they do have more horses...

I was solely going on what he said ... He said the 05 350 had 3  crap 300 and something horses... but more than our 300. I'm not much into any foreign cars nor do I pay attention to their stats. BUT I guess since he was wrong about part of it... I had no reason to believe any of what he said huh.

They aren't technically "coming back" The RX-8 is the new RX-7. The only way they will probalby bring back what they used to produce is a T/C-ed RX-8(MazdaSpeed edition)

Cute...they tapered the torque so they could get more HP. I doubt the times changed.

Anyway, I agree Ghost, shouldn't change the 0-60 time, maybe a little faster on the 1/4, but very little if any.
Anyway, sorry to get off topic. GOOD KILL! I've been begging a Z or G35 to pull up next to me at a red light
Of course to admire their car, not to street race or anything, that would be wrong.

No, that's not right, the RX-8 is not the new RX-7. The RX-7 was a 2 door, 2 seater. The RX-8 is a 4 door, 4 seater. Their were rumors of an RX-5 as well, but I don't think that one will happen. An RX-5 would be a rotary powered MX-5 or Miata.

The day I picked the car up I was challenged by an 98 camaro (figures) anyway, I thought about it momentarilly then decided against as the car was brand new, he revved it a few times, then when he realized I wasnt biting he gave up
.we were both smiling, I am sure I will run into him again, and am looking forward to it !

A 350z pulled up to me last Thursday morning on my way to work. It was an older guy and his wife. It was nice out, I had my windows down, my music up, and I was in just a cruising mood, but when the light turned green the 350z stomped on it. I couldn't resist so I took it 6000rpm in first, chirped 2nd, and walked past him. I slowed down and he rolled up next to me, he and his wife both had big smiles, and he was motioning like he wanted to go again but I had to make a turn.
as much as i want to race again i think im gonig to save it for a track and controlled conditions. haha or not. depends on who challenges me and when hehe. i cant resist the need for speed.
