I think of it as maturity. I have also realized that the prize at the end of the day is driving your car home in 1 piece. Number 1 goal is to be safe. Fast is 2 or 3 down the list. Every now and then I'll do a "hot" lap or two, where I take more chances, and at the end I realize I took a lot more risk for 0.5s time gain. Worth it? Hmmm, debatable.

Yea, your car looks pretty flat. I'm also realizing how much difference the Steeda competition front bar makes! Good choice!

Well bled the brake system for the first time in a year... The SRF bled off looked almost new... But all set for this season now threw in some XP12's I had laying around as my first 6 days this year are at "light braking" courses. Save the good pads for the Glen

Ready for limerock! My student has a 700 hp ZL1... Intermediate level guy. Excited to instruct in that beast!!

great to hear the srf still looks new, hoping my motuls last under less trackdays as long as yours. Jelly abt the Glen, sounds awesome :-) saw a ZL1 pass our drivers meeting, everyone turned to look and follow it down the paddock :-)

Motul is great fluid, you'll be more than fine for many track events.
Which fluid do you run? I recently upgraded to the 660 and I'm very happy with that.
My second track day of the season is Saturday and I am so ready!

Good luck guys, enjoy your outings!
I only use RBF600 and I haven't had any complaints either. I have 4 days planned this year, so we'll see how it holds up.

Motul is great fluid - I ran rbf 600 for a couple years. I like the castrol cause I can be lazy and never change it cause the wet boiling is 520F compared with 400F or so for any other fluid.

But fresh Motul is great!

Finally got my F14 18x10 wheels (20lbs) and my racing metal valve stems. Now just wait for the 28th for wheel/tire mounting :-)

Is this one of those things that fall under "mandatory safety equipment?" As in it helps you stay on track and is mandatory so your tires touch the ground?

Excited for you man, this and the tires will make a BIG difference!

Road America along with a few other tracks is on my bucket list. One of these days man! I'll certainly PM you when I decide to head out there. It will likely be a few years though. I promised my wife I wouldn't leave her alone with our 10 month old daughter due to track days for more than a day.

I look forward to your feedback on the wheel/tire combo. They look great, and 22 pounds is no joke!

completely understand, family comes first. Certainly provide comments after RA on combo. Excited to feel (accel/braking) the difference with the combo. Wanting mid-Ohio but have to consider lodging/food/gas/parts...our hobby is never only one thing :-)
