2017 Season plans
Off to Mid Ohio tomorrow. Car (and hopefully driver) are settled in. I'm hoping for keeping it shiny side up, in same condition as now, and with a new PB.
Different tires, different brake pads, and new CAI/Tune. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Slow in fast out, slow is smooth and smooth is fast, keep it shiny side up . . . . LOL, I know you didn't ask me but that's the best I got!
I can't believe the season is half over and I haven't made it to the track once. Heck I think I have only found time to wash the Mustang once. I moved in December and have been preparing the old house to sell ever since. Good news is it is done now, just listed it, so hope to have some time for fun during the second half of the summer. And hopefully all that work will pay off with a little extra play money too, LOL!

Take the uphill entry faster than you think the car can take then dial in a bit more steering while under compression as it transitions from flat to up. You have TONS of grip there.
Similar for ghe downhill. Quick flick of the wheel as you hit the compression on the downhill
For the right after the left hander, aim to put wheels in the inside curbing. You likely won't get there but the track has a lot of camber by that curb and you'll find grip
use 3rd through big bend and onto the back straight. You'll have better lift throttle abilities

That brings back some good memories when I drove a Shelby GT350R there. I'm glad I don't live close by there I would be spending a lot of cash!
Sorted out the creaking noise in my steering.... the spherical bushings on the tie rod end links were the culprit. Added some high temp grease (due to close proximity to rotors...) and the noise was immediately gone. So feeling good about that issue
now to figure out what the steering "shift" is during turns.
Hitting SCCA track night at Palmer on Thursday, so I'll see how that feels. Hoping to set a new PB there

Last scheduled track day is a week from now. Mid Ohio. Hope the weather holds up, I know I can set a new PB there with my current set up. I switched to XP12 in the front (Gloc R12) which is a 2000F fade resistant pad with a bit more bite, and after bedding in the pads the rotors turned blue. Gotta say, that's a new one.
